High School Practical Education Partnership
Program Overview
Through our High School Practical Eduation Partnership, ArtTech Alliance offers a 1-year free subscription to the Audio Docent Independent Producer Package for every year that a participating school produces and maintains a tour on the Audio Docent audio tour authoring platform.
Benefits to High School Students
Students who participate in this program will:
- Build practical experience in using AI responsibly for content development
- Learn about art, science and history by working with local museums
- Gain exposure to careers in the museum world
- Acquire business skills in project management, user analytics, and marketing
- Earn money for their club/school (50% of net tour fees)
Benefits to Museums
Musuems that work with participating High School students will:
- Be able to offer engaging audio tours to their visitors at no cost to the museum
- Support practical arts, science, and history education of local high school students
- Promote fundraising for local schools through tour fees
- Connect with prospective student interns who are excited about careers in the museum world
ArtTech Alliance's Promise
ArtTech Alliance will provide the following services to participating schools:
- A free 1-year Audio Docent Independent Producer account to each school for every tour they publish and maintain
- A remote onboarding session for students at the start of the project
- Self-directed training materials including training videos on how to use the Audio Docent platform
- Audio tour marketing and promotion resources and templates
- Free technical support via online collaboration system like Slack
