Student Project Discount Program
Program Overview
The ArtTech Alliance Student Project Discount Program provides a 1-year free subscription to the Audio Docent Starter Package to any museum, historical site or other attraction that engages a student of a participating museum studies program to produce and launch an audio tour on the Audio Docent AI platform.
Student Responsibilities
Students will be given administrative access to the museum's subscription for the entire year, or term depending on how the academic course is structured by the school. They will be expected to:
- Find a local museum willing to engage their services with no compensation
- Collaborate with museum staff to design a dual-language tour of up to 15 stops
- Build the tour on the Audio Docent platform which uses artificial intelligence to facilitate drafting audio scripts, translating those scripts and producing the voiceover
- Launch the tour when approved by the museum
- Work with the museum's staff to promote the tour and track initial visitor engagement
- Produce a project paper covering design, process and results to be submitted as part of their coursework
